ChewA graveside funeral service with military honors for Robert Louis “Bob” Chew, age 88, of Brownwood will held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, March 4, 2010 in Greenleaf Cemetery with Tony King officiating.  Visitation will be from 6-8 P.M. Wednesday March 3, 2010 at Davis Morris Funeral Home.

Bob passed away Sunday morning February 28, 2010 at his home in Brownwood.

Robert was born in Granite, Oklahoma on October 14, 1921 to Verna and Otto Chew. He married Lucille Weathermon on March 18, 1956 in Brownwood. He served in the US Army 1942-1945. Bob was an Auto Parts Manager in Brownwood and in Oklahoma City until he retired in 1975.

Bob is survived by his wife of 53 years, Lucille Weathermon Chew, four daughters, Lana Gardner of Brownwood, Linda Bernard of Sunrise, FL, Kathy Bass of El Reno, OK, Carol Melton of Oklahoma City, OK, a son, Allen Chew of Brownwood, ten grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren.
