Due to forecasted inclement weather, Brownwood‘s Veterans Day program will be at 11 AM on Friday, November 10 at VFW Post 3278, 2300 Stephen F. Austin Drive instead of the Central Texas Veterans Memorial. State Senator Phil King will give the Keynote address. Senator King is also a colonel in the Texas state guard. We will also be dedicating plaques honoring World War II Brownwood Veterans Jack Carlson and JH Childs. Everyone is welcome.
