ABILENE — The Howard Payne University women’s soccer team lost to Hardin-Simmons 4-0 Thursday (Nov. 2) on the road at HSU Soccer Complex in the ASC Semifinals.

The loss dropped Howard Payne’s record to 10-7-2 overall.

Emily Williamson led Howard Payne with seven saves. The Lady Jackets recorded seven shots in the loss, two of them on goal. Howard Payne faced 32 Hardin-Simmons shots, 11 of them on goal.

Howard Payne’s overall record for the 2023 season was 10-7-2, their second winning season in the last three years.
