On October 23, 2023, Tim Pattillo passed away in his home in Brownwood. A resident of Brownwood for more than twenty years, Tim was born in Brownwood and grew up in Pecos and Odessa where his love of sports led him to play baseball for Odessa Permian High School.

After high school, Tim worked for Phillips Petroleum for twenty-seven years. After retiring from Phillips Petroleum, Tim moved to Brownwood where he helped raise a family and operated a successful home remodeling business. When he wasn’t working, you could find Tim and Kristin on their boat and pitching camp at Lake Brownwood or other RV locations around the state. Tim always prided himself in making his camping location feel like a real vacation home where they could enjoy the outdoors with friends and family. And for Tim, no one was a stranger and he loved telling stories and jokes. He would always tell people — “I am just me, what you see is what you get.”

Tim will be sorely missed by those he left behind, especially his wife Kristin, his sons Tyler and Taylor and his wife Rachel Pattillo, his sister Terri, his parents Jeanette and Charles Pattillo, his aunts, uncles and cousins, Dr. Dorothy Trevino, Nancy and Ed Middlebrooks, Jennifer and Shannon Simpson, Jeff and Tammy McAnally, their children and his grandsons Grayson, Rowan, and Dawson O’Hara as well as lots of close friends.

Tim was preceded in death and is now reunited with his sister Tami.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, October 30, 2023, at Coggin Avenue Baptist Church, with internment to follow in Eastlawn Memorial Park.

Condolences, memories, and tributes can be offered to the Pattillo family at heartlandfuneralhome.com
