With completion of the Events Center Complex scheduled for the end of the 2023 calendar year, City Manager Emily Crawford announced some of the future plans for the venue during Tuesday’s Brownwood City Council meeting.

Most notable, a concert series is in the works, according to Crawford, which will feature three to four major concerts to open the venue during its first year.

“We are currently working with event producers and entertainment folks who have high level musician contracts so that we can make sure we have some really fantastic acts to bring to Brownwood,” Crawford said.
