Bangs ISD sent over the following information late Saturday night:
For the first time in 30 years, the Bangs Dragons Marching Band is advancing to the state competition in San Antonio, Tx. The state contest will be help on Tuesday, October 31st at the Alamodome in San Antonio.
The band is under the direction on Tommy Perkins and Paige Lauer.
The top 3 bands from Saturday’s area competition in Mineral Wells earned state berths.
