Clova Nell Bond Eoff was born April 26, 1940, in Brownwood, to David Troy and Rosie Bond. She went to be with her precious Jesus Sunday, April 27, 2014.

A visitation will be held from 6-8 PM Tuesday, April 29, at Heartland Funeral Home. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 30, 2014, at Heartland Funeral Home in Early, Texas. Burial will follow in Blanket Cemetery, where Clova will be buried beside her daughter, Donna Patience Eoff.

She raised her family in Zephyr, Texas, before moving to Brownwood in 1986. She worked and eventually retired from MHMR after 20 years. She loved her clients like family. Clova was a great cook and was well known for her fabulous banana pudding.

Clova blessed her family and our Bond family as well as her friends with her caring, compassionate heart. She showed her love for God by living her faith.

Even at the early age of 6 years old, she developed skills of “mothering”, as she helped take care of all her siblings as each new Bond baby arrived. At about this same age, she developed her cooking skills. Our mother only trusted Clova in the kitchen. Her best days were spent with her two sons and their families. She set a Christian example for all of her siblings, nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Clova was always a gifted lady in our family and was always there for all of us when needed.

Clova was preceded in death by her parents and her daughter, Donna Patience Eoff.

She is survived by her sons, Kelvin Eoff and wife Tracy of Rockwood and Dan Eoff and fiancé Teresa Keenan of Abilene; sisters, June Greenlee and husband Jim of Ovalo, Wilma Gray and Verda Gravell, both of Brownwood; Freida Wetzel and Lumen of Troy; brothers, David Bond and wife Kathy and Phillip Bond all of Brownwood. Clova Eoff is also survived by her grandchildren, Karbin Eoff and wife Stephanie, Dustin Maedgen, Justin Brown, Cooper Eoff, Kutter and wife Paige Eoff, Kashtyn, and Kannon Eoff; and three great-grandchildren; along with many nieces and nephews.
