The 10u Bombers won their tournament this past weekend in Killeen.  They were 1st place out of 8 teams. They played a solid Buzz team to reach the championship and beat another solid Buzz team in the championship. The Bombers scored 51 runs this weekend and only gave up 8 runs.
Reese Robinson was tournament MVP. She hit .400 on the weekend and had 41 strikeouts in the circle this weekend. Reese averaged 2.41 strikeouts per inning. Teams hit a weak .138 against her. She was awarded a ghost bat for being tournament MVP. Reese also reached her 100th strikeout this weekend!
Scout Sheffield was selected as an All Tournament Selection. She hit .750 on the weekend and was a wizard on the bases, producing key runs. Fynlee Brown was also selected as All Tournament as she hit .545 and held down short stop all weekend well. Harper White was also an All Tournament selection, she hit .429 on the weekend and caught every inning except 1 of the tourney. She threw out runners at second and was a great leader.
Gentry McMillian hit .400 on the weekend as well. She pitched one game and got the win in the circle and had 5 strikeouts in 3 innings. She also turned a double play this weekend. Mayra Garcia came up with a huge hit to right center field in the semi final game! Gemma Slusher, Kallie Atkinson, and Raegan Park got their first 10u hits as well this weekend. Zoey Miles and Audrey Stewart provided solid at bats and found ways to get on and produce runs. Aubree and Hannah are both so quick on the bases, they both helped score runs in big ways at different times in the tournament.
10u will be back in action this weekend.
