September is Brown County United Way’s Month of Giving

September is Brown County United Way’s Month of Giving. Six local restaurants are doing their part to support Brown County agencies. Dine in, and they will donate a portion of the proceeds directly to Brown County United Way. The locations and dates are as follows:

Friday, September 1 – Up in Smoke in Early – 11:00 am to 3:00 pm
Monday, September 4 – McAlister’s Deli – Brownwood – 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm
Wednesday, September 6 – Buffalo Wild Wings – Brownwood – 11:00 am to 11:00 pm
Tuesday, September 12 – Cotton Patch – Brownwood – 4:00 pm to 9:30 pm
Monday, September 18 – Potter’s Pizza – Brownwood – 11:00 am to 9:30 pm
Friday, September 29 – Common Grounds – Brownwood – 6:30 am to 2:00 pm

Also planned is a Family Fun Day on Saturday, September 9, from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at McDonald Park in Early. The family fun day will feature games, food and prizes. You will also get to learn about the Brown County United Way partner non-profit agencies and how each one serves Brown County.

All funds raised stay in Brown County. For more information, call 325-800-8020 or reach out to browncountyunitedway@verizon.net.
