Basketball for the Cure

BBall4aCause1On January 11, the Brownwood 7th and 8th grade Lady Cub basketball teams were invited bySweetwater to participate in a breast cancer awareness fundraiser.  Each player and coachdonated money toward the cause by purchasing a t-shirt. Between games, there were paperairplane throwing contests, and players passed a cut open basketball for  donations fromthe fans.  The logo was “Pack the place pink for the cure.”
