GLEN ROSE – The Brownwood Lady Lions kicked off the Glen Rose volleyball tournament Friday with pool play, where they dropped all four matches.

The Lady Lions fell to West, Liberty Hill, Granbury NCTA and Denton to slip to 2-11 on the season.

“The girls played very hard and fought for every single point and we learned a lot playing against some really great competition,” said Lady Lions first-year head coach Cheyanne Lovelady.

The Lady Lions resume tournament action at 9 a.m. Saturday.
