10u Bombers Sheffield White Team brought home 1st place in Temple this weekend and were so fun to watch.

Reese Robinson brought fire and confidence on the mound. She carried the way pitching 12 innings and having 30 strikeouts. She also hit .625 on the weekend. She was named co MVP. Harper White was also MVP hitting .429. She was solid behind the plate. Gentry McMillian hit well on the weekend batting .750 and was strong and steady at 1st, and Audrey Stewart hit .600 on the weekend. Kaylee Cheek played an amazing short stop and hit .444. Scout Sheffield was solid at 2nd and hit .333. Fynlee Brown had some great hits and plays as well.  Kallie Atkinson and Reagan Park earned some pretty amazing gear because of the roles they played this weekend and growth they both showed. Reagan got a brand new ghost bat and Kallie got a bat bag. Zoey Miles put down some great bunts and had great contact to bring runs home so many times. Aubree Collins, Mayra Garcia, Gemma Slusher also played roles that contributed to the team over and over, all weekend. Hannah Armstrong also had growth this weekend, she showed leadership on the field and made great contact. It was truly a team effort this weekend.

These girls are putting in the work and their effort shows when they take the field. There are 62 girls playing in the Brownwood Bombers organization this fall and each girl is putting in the work to achieve success! The girls will resume their “One Cup at a Time” ministry in September. This is where the girls pick a service project or ministry to do each month. In the spring and summer the Brownwood Bombers did 6 different ministry and service projects. We look forward to seeing what the fall has in store for these girls and their communities.
