The annual ‘Meet the Lions’ event, signaling the start of a new school year, will take place at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 16 at Gordon Wood Stadium.

Student-athletes and coaching staffs from the fall sports – football, volleyball, cross country and team tennis – will be introduced.

The Mighty Maroon Marching Band, Brownwood High Cheerleaders, Lionettes and Lion Crew will also be on hand to entertain, as well.

Concessions and Lions paraphernalia courtesy of the Brownwood Lions Mothers Club will be available for purchase.
