The Brownwood Area Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting for Haven Coffee on Friday, July 28th at 11:00am. Located inside The Hideout Golf Club and Resort, Haven Coffee Shop served their guests some the delicious treats available on their menu, including apple cinnamon and raspberry scones and their Haven Signature Bagel made with Artisan Ham, fresh mozzarella, and homemade pesto.
“The inspiration came from travel…It’s community and that’s what we are really hoping to bring to The Hideout,” says General Manager Matthew Weeks. “Haven is meant to be an inlet away from the day-to-day feeling. A scandi-boho style escape, providing warmth and unique offerings not common in the surrounding area. It was designed to be a place for gatherings, work-study, meetings, and morning family coffee.”
The coffee served at Haven is fair trade, agricultural and economically sustainable and certified organic roasted right here in Texas. Haven Coffee is located on the first level of the clubhouse near the Golf Shop and the Director of Golf, Mick Jones joined us for the celebration.
