Tonya Lashay Frame

Tonya Lashay Frame, 52, of Clyde, Texas went to be with her Lord and Savior on July 28th, 2023, at Hendrick Hospice in Abilene, surrounded by her family. A Celebration of Life will be held at Fountaingate Fellowship, 909 N. Willis in Abilene, at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, August 5, 2023. Burial will follow in the Clyde Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7:00 to 9:00 pm Friday, August 4, 2023, at Bailey Howard Funeral Home of Clyde.

Tonya was born in Andrews, Texas on Sept. 2nd, 1970, to Connie and Wayne Mathis. She graduated from Early High School in 1989. During her high school years, she was a member of the Color Guard.

Tonya married John Frame on May 28th, 1995, in Brownwood Texas. She enjoyed her life as a property manager, loved fishing, and would often send her husband John off to work with fresh breakfast tacos and homemade banana bread for the guys he worked with. What Tonya loved best was her family, and spending time with her granddaughters, Rayli, Elaina, Jalynn, Nova, Tylar and Gianna, who were the high light of her life.

Tonya is survived by her husband John; sons, Tyler Mathis and fiancé Kendall of Weatherford Texas, John Frame V of Clyde, Texas and Sean Fuller and wife Sabra of Granbury, Texas; daughter, Kaylee Frame and fiancé Christopher Wheeler of Clyde, Texas; her mother, Connie Cole of Clyde; brothers, Johnny Mathis and wife Kelly of Marshfield, Wisconsin and Joe Mathis and wife Linda of Granbury; sister, Sonia Welch and husband Lee of Brownwood, Texas and a number of nieces and nephews.
