Ricky Crawford

Ricky Gale Crawford, 64, of San Saba, Texas, passed away on July 26, 2023, in Brownwood, Texas.

He was born on January 12, 1959, in San Saba, Texas, to the late William A. Crawford and Nora Francis Crawford.

Ricky proudly served in the Army from 1976 to 1978 and was honorably discharged. Following his military service, Ricky pursued a career as a Certified Nursing Assistant from 1997 to 2010, where he dedicated himself to caring for others.

In his free time, Ricky enjoyed motorcycle rides, finding solace and freedom on the open road. It was during these rides that he experienced a sense of adventure and embraced his love for the outdoors.

Ricky will be dearly missed by his loving wife, Tammy Crawford, sister Sandy Marie and his children, Ricky Crawford Jr.and wife Shawna Crawford, Jonathan Crawford and wife Jamie Crawford, Roger Crawford and Wife Jennifer Crawford, Nora Crawford, and his bonus son, Lonnie Wooten and wife Phiona Ray.

He leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion to his family. Ricky also leaves behind twelve grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren, who will forever cherish the memories they shared together. Ricky is preceded in death by his parents, William A. Crawford and Nora Francis Crawford, as well as his sisters, Willie Francis, Nina Faye, Sharon Kay, and his brother, Randy Dee.

A celebration of Ricky’s life will be held to honor his memory and the impact he had on the lives of those around him. May his soul find eternal peace as his spirit continues to live on in the hearts of his loved ones. Services will be held on August 6th at 9:30 a.m. at Wallace Creek Cemetery in San Saba.
