The following fishing reports are provided by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department for the week of July 26:

LAKE BROWNWOOD

Crappie are fair in brush piles on jigs and on minnows around the docks in 10-13 feet of water. White bass are fair to 1.00 pounds in the lights or schooling on jigs and minnows. Catfish are good to 5 pounds on jug lines and trotlines using perch and cut bait.

LAKE CISCO

GOOD. Water normal stain; 85 degrees; 9.34 feet below pool. The lake is calm, and wind is too mild for the heat. Water is cool under the surface, so jump in for a swim before you cast. Perch and catfish are biting good on worms in 10 feet of water. Report by Lake Cisco Rentals.
