12 sentenced in 35th District Court

The office of District Attorney Micheal Murray issued the following press release Tuesday regarding a felony case recently heard in 35th District Court by Judge Sam Moss:

  • David Dewayne Peery aka David Dewayne Perry pled guilty to the felony offense of Criminal Mischief was sentenced to 6 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division. Further, Peery, on probation for the state jail felony offense of Fraudulent Use/Possession of Identifying Information, was adjudicated and sentenced to 1 year, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.

  • Johnny Savala Salazar aka Johnny Salazar aka Juan Salazar pled guilty felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance-Drug Free Zone and was sentenced to 10 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
  • Chancy R. Widebusch aka Chancy Ray Wiedebusch aka Chancy Ray Wiedebusch pled guilty to the felony offense of Driving While Intoxicated and was sentenced to 12 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
  • Tamar Hansen pled guilty to two separate felony offense of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon and was sentenced to 10 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
  • Megan Ann Cruz, on probation for the felony offense of Tampering with or Fabricating Physical Evidence, was adjudicated and sentenced to 6 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
  • Hector Gonzales aka Hector Gonzales, Jr., pled guilty to the felony offense of Failure to Register as a Sex Offender and was sentenced to 7 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
  • Andrew Lawrence Ewing, on probation for the felony offense of Burglary of a Habitation, was revoked and sentenced to 5 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division. Further, Ewing, on probation for the felony offense of Delivery of a Controlled Substance – Drug Free Zone, was revoked and sentenced to 2 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
  • Heath Richards aka Duane Richards, on probation for the felony offense of Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle, was revoked and sentenced to 4 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
  • Cheyenne Wood pled guilty to the felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance and was sentenced to 5 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division. Further, Wood, on probation for the state jail felony offense of Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle, was revoked and sentenced to 2 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.
  • Felipe Antonio Ortiz pled guilty to the felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance and was sentenced to 12 months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.
  • Josie Martinez pled guilty to the state jail felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance and was sentenced to 10 months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.
  • James Howard Smith pled guilty to the felony offense of Theft and was sentenced to 12 months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.
