glennGraveside services for Don Glenn, age 76, of Aledo, Texas will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, February 15, 2014 at Eastlawn Memorial Park with Todd King officiating under the direction of Heartland Funeral Home in Early. Mr. Glenn passed away Monday, February 10, 2014 at his residence.

Donald Kenneth Glenn was born on January 3, 1938 in San Angelo, Texas to D.K. Glenn and Betty Butner Glenn. He attended Tarleton State University where he was in the ROTC. Formerly of Bronte, Texas he was a past member of the Bronte Lions Club and served on the Bronte School Board. Mr. Glenn moved to Brownwood in the 1980’s and owned Glenns Photography. He was also an Accountant, Rancher and Pilot. He enjoyed photography, flying and was a gun enthusiast. He had resided in Aledo for the past three years.

Survivors include his wife Jeanette Glenn of Arlington, Texas; one son Kelly Glenn and wife Shirley of Early, Texas; one daughter Donna Julian and husband Ron of Arlington; four grandchildren Zane Waldrop and wife Jennifer of San Angelo, Texas, Amanda Smith and husband Brandon of Early, Texas; Shay Glenn of Weatherford, Texas and Taylor Julian of Austin, Texas; two great grandchildren Emma Waldrop and Riley Smith and by two brothers Eddie Glenn and wife Paulette of San Angelo, Texas and Gene Glenn and wife Lisa of Azle, Texas. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
