Barbara Ann Baehr, 83, of Brownwood, Texas passed away Wednesday, July 5, 2023. A graveside service will be held in the Winchell Cemetery, Saturday, July 8, 2023 at 2:00 PM with Pastor James Pafford officiating.

Barbara was born July 27, 1939 in Brownwood, Texas to Johnnie Cecil and Oleta (Flowers) Baker. She attended Brownwood school and married Wayne Christian Baehr May 2, 1958. Their marriage blessed them with 3 daughters. Family was very important to Barbara and her children and grandchildren were the center of her world. She worked as a homemaker and was a professional at her work. Barbara personified the name, mother. She was always happy and had the most loving, kind and giving spirit. Barbara loved the Lord with all her heart, never lost faith, and showed the love of Christ to everyone she met. No one was a stranger in her presence and everyone that spent any little amount of time around her called her mom or grandma. She adopted everyone and would give up the most precious things she owned to help someone in need. Barbara had a presence about her, a glow that filled a room.

Barbara is survived by her daughters, Kim Swingle and husband Tommy, Kellie Baehr and Kenny Peterson, Christie Masters and husband James; grandchildren; Heather Bondallian and husband Donn, Delese Noble and husband Josh, Sarah McDermott and husband Adam, Ryan Vaughan, Christian Vaughan, Brady Beene and wife Courtney, Bailey Beene and wife Kelsey; great grandchildren, Kade, Makai, Mauka, Korbin, Brayden, Braylee, Gracelyn, Robin and Tommy; and numerous nieces, nephews and a host of great friends.

Barbara was preceded in death by her loving husband of 54 years, Wayne; mother and father, JC & Oleta Baker; brother, Kenneth Baker; niece, Lorie Baker; nephew, Mark Bruton; and great granddaughter, Creedence Beene.
