Mike Holder is one of the most honest and respected men you will ever meet.  His integrity is like no other and his willingness to help others is one of his greatest assets.

Mike Holder worked with the Lubbock Police Department from 1971-1978.  In 1983 Mike applied for a position as a deputy with the Lubbock County Sheriff’s Office and was hired on as a patrol deputy.

Deputy Holder was able to learn the county inside and out which was instrumental as a part of his daily activities.  He then petitioned for a position civil division and was accepted then transferred into the civil division.  He knew each and every aspect of civil law and was able to administer his knowledge on a daily basis with the public, lawyers and with Judges.  Mike would ultimately become Lieutenant of the Civil Division overseeing all civil deputies.

Lieutenant Holder honorably retired as a Master Peace Officer from the Lubbock County Sheriff’s Office in 2005.  I have the highest confidence he will serve the public with the utmost integrity and dedication.

Sincerely,

Kelly Rowe
Sheriff Lubbock County
