The Women’s APT Tour is making its first stop in Brownwood at The Hideout this week for the The Hideout Open.

A Pro-Am begins at noon today while Round One tees off at 8 a.m. Tuesday. Action concludes in the four-round, 72-hole event Friday.

Professional players who will take part in both the Pro-Am and tournament include Julianne Alvarez, Leslie Cloots, Pilar Echeverria, Jacquelyn Eleey, Mikayla Fitzpatrick, Gabrielle Gibson, Kaeli Jones, Yoonhee Kim, Kristina Kniesly, Jordy LaBarbera, Madison Luitwieler, and Sara McKevit.

The estimated purse is the tournament is $55,000 with the winner receiving $10,000. The top 2 finishers will earn exemptions to the Epson Tour’s Hartford HealthCare Women’s Championship in Milford, Connecticut on July 14-16.
