KefferHeadshotState Representative Jim Keffer will be the guest speaker at the Pecan Valley Republican Women’s monthly luncheon on Thursday, January 23rd at the Brownwood Country Club from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Representative Keffer will discuss what to expect in the 84th Legislative Session – closing the equity gap in public education, seismic activity and the future of oil and gas drilling, and securing water funding for rural Texas.  Time permitting Representative Keffer will also take questions.

Representative Jim Keffer (R-Eastland) is a conservative family man, small business owner and lifelong Texas Republican Party Leader.  As president of EBAA Iron Sales, Inc., Jim is one of the largest employers in Eastland, TX and Albany, TX.  Jim currently serves as Chairman of the Texas House Committee on Energy Resources.  He also serves on the National Resources Committee, Redistricting Committee and Texas House Republican Caucus.

Lila Ward, Precinct Chairman, Election Judge, Membership Vice President for Bandera County Republican Women, and TFRW SD24 Director will be installing the new officers of the Pecan Valley Republican Women at the beginning of the program starting at 11:45 a.m. to allow more time for questions for Representative Keffer.   The public is invited to attend, and membership in the Pecan Valley Republican Women is not required to attend.

The cost of the luncheon is $12 per person to be paid at the door.
