Future brides will get the chance to plan their complete wedding this Saturday at the Brownwood Area Bridal Fair being held at the Depot Civic and Cultural Center from 10 AM to 2 PM.

Vendors at the fair will showcase their products and services and be available to offer tips, techniques, and ideas for the perfect wedding.  The bridal fair will offer valuable information and resources all in one place.

“There will be photographers, florists, caterers, DJs, party rental, and venues represented at the fair this year,” said organizer Sunni Modawell. “Brides should be able to meet face to face with businesses that can assist in planning the big day, all in one location.”

Door prize drawings will be taking place throughout the day with grand prizes featuring an all-inclusive 4 day, 3 night stay for 2 at the Occidental Grand Xcaret Resort in Mexico and 2 tickets to see Imagine Dragons live in concert.

This is the second year in a row that the Brownwood Chamber has organized the Brownwood Area Bridal Fair coming off of a huge response last year.

“Last  year’s fair far exceeded all of our expectations in the number of vendors and brides that participated,” she said.  “We are expecting another great event this year with such a variety and expanded selection of vendors.”

Modawell said that 28 vendors will be on hand at this year’s event covering all aspects of planning a wedding.

The Brownwood Area Bridal Fair will take place from 10 AM – 2 PM on Saturday,  January 18 at the Depot Civic and Cultural Center, and admission to the show is free.  The bridal fair is sponsored by Green Acres – IRent, the City of Brownwood and the Brownwood Area Chamber of Commerce.
