wareMrs. Jean H. Miller Ware, age 89, of Brownwood passed away Thursday, January 09, 2014, in Brownwood.

Jean was born January 12, 1924, in Tom Green County to Frances and Tom T. Homesley.

She worked for the United States Department of Agriculture until her retirement.

Jean was a Christian by faith; she was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, Mr. John T. Miller in 1969 and Mr. Roy B. Ware in 1991; and one brother, Earl Homesley.

She leaves to treasure her memory a son, Craig Miller and his wife Treasa of Bangs; a grandson, Cody Miller and his wife Lauren of Bastrop; a granddaughter Whitney Miller and her husband Colton of Bangs; a great grandson, Cason Miller of Bangs; two step-sons, LeRoy Ware and his wife Sue of Brownwood and Garrett Ware and his wife Evelyn of Liberty Hill; a step daughter, Elaine McCollum and her husband C.J. of La Vernia; a brother, Wylie “Butch” Homesley of Moses Lake, Washington and a sister, Geraldine Pederson of Minneapolis, Minn.

The family will receive guests for a time of visitation from 6 O’clock until 8 O’clock evening Monday, January 13, 2014, at Davis-Morris Funeral Home in Brownwood. Funeral services will be at 11 O’clock in the morning on Tuesday, January 14, 2014, in the chapel of Davis-Morris Funeral Home in Brownwood. Interments services will follow at Eastlawn Memorial Park in Early.

Services have been entrusted to the care of Davis-Morris Funeral Home in Brownwood.
