The BRMC Volunteers are pleased to announce the November and December 2013 BRMC Volunteers of the Month.

Judy Pointer (Pictured top right) was honored as the November 2013 BRMC Volunteer of the Month during the January 2014 Executive Board Meeting of the Brownwood Regional Medical Center Volunteers. She has been a BRMC Volunteer for over 15 years having joined the organization in 1998. Judy is a familiar face at the BRMC Volunteer Information Desk at the front entrance of Brownwood Regional Medical Center where she provides assistance to patients, their family members, and visitors to the Medical Center. She has over 1370 hours of Volunteer Service at BRMC.

Jill Wall (pictured to left) was honored as the December 2013 BRMC Volunteer of the Month during the January 2014 Executive Board Meeting of the Brownwood Regional Medical Center Volunteers. She has been a BRMC Volunteer for over 20 years having joined the organization in 1987. Jill served as the BRMC Volunteers Membership Chairman from 2001 – 2002. She currently volunteers in the BRMC Gift Shop and at the Volunteer Information Desk located at the front entrance of Brownwood Regional Medical Center.  Jill has over 5000 hours of Volunteer Service at BRMC.

The Volunteer of the Month Award is given by the BRMC Volunteers each month during the year. Recipients of the award receive recognition and lunch at the Executive Board Meeting held in the month following the month for which they are selected.  Each BRMC Volunteer of the Month recipient is recognized with a framed Volunteer of the certificate, a ‘For the Love of a Child’ pin which represents the motto of The Texas Association of Healthcare Volunteers for the 2013 – 2014 Volunteer Year and a ‘BRMC Volunteer of the Month’ bar.

The BRMC Volunteers are always excited to meet area individuals who are interested in becoming a Volunteer. BRMC Volunteer application forms may be found in the BRMC Gift Shop, at the front entrance information desk, online at http://www.brmc-cares.com or by calling the BRMC Volunteer Office at 325-649-3399 and leaving a message.
