Robert Zepeda, age 37, of Brownwood, died Wednesday, May 10, 2023, in Abilene.

The family will host a time of visitation from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, May 19, 2023, at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel. Family and friends are invited to a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 20, 2023, at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Santa Anna Cemetery. Services are entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home, 400 W. Pecan Street, in Coleman.

He was born September 5, 1985, in Brownwood to Juan A. Martinez and Terry Tafoya Guerrero. He grew up in Brownwood where he attended school. Robert was a faithful Christian and loved his family immensely. He loved spending time with his nieces and nephews. He also enjoyed writing poems and compositions and loved music of all genres. He will be greatly missed.

Robert is survived by his mother, Terry Guerrero of Brownwood; his father, Juan Martinez of Wichita, Kansas; his wife, Stephanie Sanchez of San Angelo; two brothers, Albert Zepeda of Abilene and John Martinez of Lubbock; one sister, Julie Alvarado and husband Danny Woods of Brownwood; his maternal grandmother, Mary Tafoya of Bangs; his paternal grandmother, Carmen Martinez of Wichita, Kansas; and multiple nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Pallbearers will be Ray Balfour, Elias Partida, Francisco Quintana, Steven Quintana, Danny Woods, and Robert Martinez.
