Chad Wayne Green, age 42, of Early, passed away on Saturday, May 13, 2023, at his home after a long battle with cancer.

The service for Chad will be held at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, May 16, 2023, at Unity Church in Trickham, with Dr. Pepper Dill officiating; burial will follow in Trickham Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home of Brownwood.

Chad was born on March 4, 1981, in San Angelo to Craig Green and Kim (Tolbert) Green. Chad had a passion for drag racing, and he also loved fishing and playing cornhole. He was a very skilled mechanic, but more importantly, Chad was known for his love of his family and friends. He had the ability to light up the room and make everyone laugh.

Those left to cherish his memory include his daughters, Kurstyn Nicole Ming and Kimberlee Ann Green; the love of his life, Mendy Green of Early; his mother, Kim Tolbert of San Angelo; his father, Craig Green and wife Patricia of Big Lake; brothers, Jarrod Green and wife Lacey of Argyle, and Brent Green and wife Andrea of Abilene; his best friend, Jacob Marcellis and wife Daun of Gardendale; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
