Law Enforcement Blotter 12/27

LECSmLaw enforcement arrests and reports released Friday, December 27, 2013.

Thursday, December 26

*10:32 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the area of Coleman and Borden Streets regarding an assault.  According to the report, a male subject, later identified as 39-year-old Ricky Crow of Coleman, had been observed striking a female victim.  A traffic stop was conducted for investigation purposes during which injury to the female was observed, the report states.  Crow was arrested for assault causes bodily injury family violence.

*10:43 AM – Brownwood Police received a report of fraudulent use of identifying information.  According to the report, a female reported that her identification had been used without her consent to open a TXU electric account on which $367.10 was billed.

*3:39 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1500 block of Indian Creek regarding theft.  According to the report, the complainant stated that a RCA tablet, valued at $120.00, was stolen around December 13th.  The complainant wished to pursue criminal charges, the report states.

*4:53 PM – Brownwood Police were called to Wal-Mart regarding theft.  According to the report, this call led to the arrest of 20-year-old Tasia Webb, who was charged with theft equal or greater than $50 less than $500.

*6:42 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 600 block of Avenue G regarding a domestic disturbance.  According to the report, a relative of the suspect reported being assaulted.   As a result of this call, 19-year-old James McClung was arrested for assault with injury family violence.

*Early Police arrested 24-year-old Aaron Scott Arner for driving while intoxicated 2nd.

*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 54-year-old Stephen Cort Barbaree of Bangs for possession of drug paraphernalia.

*Early Police arrested 17-year-old Trevor Jacob Delarosa of Early for possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces, driving while license invalid, and minor in possession of alcohol.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 39-year-old Alejandra Demestric Hall on surety withdrawals related to driving while intoxicated/blood alcohol content equal or greater than 0.15 and public lewdness.  Hall was being held as of Friday morning on bonds totaling $7,000.

All arrestees are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Blotter information compiled from local law enforcement reports and jail records.
