LECSmLaw enforcement arrests and reports released Wednesday, November 20, 2013.

Monday, November 18

*4:29 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1000 block of W. Commerce regarding the burglary of a building.  According to the report, the complainant stated that a subject had entered the building through a back window and took several tools and a bottle of whiskey.  The investigation is ongoing, the report states.

*5:03 PM – Brownwood Police met with a complainant at the law enforcement center regarding theft.  According to the report, $32.31 was stolen through an incident of credit card/debit card abuse.

Tuesday, November 19

*5:09 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1500 block of Indian Creek Drive regarding the burglary of a vehicle.  Items stolen included checkbooks, identification and a firearm.

*10:34 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1900 block of Sierra Drive regarding a stolen water meter.  According to the report, city employees advised that a water meter had been stolen from a property in the 3500 block of Surrey Lane and was now being used at a residence at 1900 block of Sierra Lane.  It was also discovered that water was also being stolen from the City of Brownwood.  According to the report, this call led to the arrest of 45-year-old Shawn Wayne Griffin for theft of property greater than $50 less than $500 enhanced.

*11:21 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1500 block of Terrace Drive regarding a damaged vehicle.  According to the report, a suspect was identified and cited for the incident.

*1:41 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1000 block of Gifford Street, Loadcraft Industries, regarding criminal mischief.  According to the report, the tires on several vehicles were damaged while parked on the property.

*6:51 PM –Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 3400 block of US Hwy 377 South, Allsup’s, regarding a gas drive off.  According to the report, $20.00 worth of gas was stolen from the business.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 33-year-old Amber Nicole Head of Early on warrants related to assault family violence and possession of a controlled substance.

Wednesday, November 20

*12:50 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1500 block of Coggin Avenue regarding theft.  According to the report, a male subject identified as 32-year-old Benjamin Levi Conrad of Brady left the store with a can of beer he had not paid for.  Conrad was located a few blocks from the store where he admitted to the theft and was subsequently arrested for theft less than $50.

All arrestees are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Blotter information compiled from local law enforcement reports and jail records.
