Matthew McCrane booted field goals of 35 and 41 yards Sunday to help the D.C. Defenders to 34-28 victory over the St. Louis Battlehawks and a perfect 3-0 record in XFL action.

In three games thus far, McCrane is 3-for-3 on his field goal attempts with a long of 47. McCrane is the only XFL kicker yet to miss an attempt this season.

The Defenders are alone in first place in the North Division of the XFL, and one of only two undefeated teams along with the Houston Roughnecks.

Next up for the Defenders is a 7 p.m. Sunday home tilt against the Vegas Vipers. The game will be televised on ESPN2.

McCrane and the Defenders’ lone trip to Texas will take place in Week 10, a Saturday, April 22 3 p.m. tilt in San Antonio against the Brahmas.
