BHS Band Earns 53 First-Division Awards at UIL Solo & Ensemble Contest

Students from the Brownwood High School (BHS) Band competed at the Region 7 UIL Solo and Ensemble Contest on Saturday, February 25.

BHS Band students earned a total of 53 first-division medals. Thirty-five students will advance on to the State Solo & Ensemble Contest in May.

“They worked hard and performed extremely well,” stated BHS Band Director David Lambert. “We’re very proud of these kids.”
