The Comanche County Sheriff’s Office released the following press release late Thursday:

On February 21, 2023 at 5:50 a.m., the Comanche County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call at a residence on County Road 103 between Comanche and Sidney. At the residence deputies found two persons who were deceased inside. The deceased person were identified as William ‘Billy’ Kehl Jr., 47, and Danielle Kehl, 35, both of Comanche.

A homicide investigation is being conducted and the Texas Rangers were called to assist in the case. There is no danger to the public currently. This is an open and active investigation, and no further information is available currently. Information will be provided as the case develops and does not hinder the investigation.
