Jeremy David McIntire, 46, of May, Texas passed away Saturday, February 18, 2022. A visitation with family will be held at Heartland Funeral Home, Friday, February 24, 2023 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM. A Celebration of Life service will be held at East Dallas Christian Church, 629 N Peak St., Dallas, TX 75246 at 2:00 PM, Monday, February 27, 2023 officiated by Dr. Larry Ross and Reverend Deborah Morgan Stokes.

Jeremy was born October 18, 1976 in Dallas, Texas to Joe Bob and Susan McIntire. He graduated from Frisco High School and received a bachelor degree in Animal Science from Tarleton State University. Jeremy married Nichole Ratliff on June 25, 2005 and they began a life together that blessed them with a daughter, Jordyn McIntire. His greatest achievement and the light of his life was his daughter, Jordyn. He spent countless hours throwing balls, practicing batting, traveling to all her softball games and tournaments. His favorite outings were taking the family to college games, fishing, hunting, anything to do with the outdoors. Jeremy loved being outside, riding around the farm, working in his garden, which he had quite a good green thumb and always harvested a bountiful crop. His shop was his solitude and he spent many hours reloading ammunition, cleaning guns and listening to his rock’n’roll. Jeremy was happy and content just being with his family and riding the farm enjoying the animals and the fresh air.

Jeremy is survived by his beloved wife, Nichole McIntire; daughter, Jordyn McIntire; mom, Susan Wright of Garland; grandmother, Gerry Fagg of Dallas; father-in-law, Joe Ratliff and wife Sue of Bluffdale; mother-in-law, Kathy Wilson and husband Glen of Arlington; sister-in-law, Karrie Francis of Celina, Texas; brother-in-law Joe Ratliff and wife Veronica of Stephenville; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Jeremy was preceded in death by his father, Joe Bob McIntire; brother, James McIntire; grandmother, Verta Louise Peake; grandfather, Vernon Grover Fagg Jr.; and an uncle, David R. Fagg.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that you please make a donation to something that really tugs at your heart in Jeremy’s name.

Online condolences can be shared with the family at www.heartlandfuneralhome.net
