Pioneer Days Schedule of Event Changed, Friday Activities Rescheduled Due to Weather

EarlyPioneerDaysLogoDue to expected inclement weather, Early Pioneer Days activities for Friday evening have been rescheduled and moved to Sunday afternoon.

According to Early Chamber of Commerce officials, the family fun around the campfire with storytelling by Bob Sawyer and K.R. Wood has been rescheduled to Sunday afternoon from 1:00 p.m. through 4:00 p.m.

All Saturday activities, along with a host of vendors, remain as scheduled.  Organizers are looking forward to a beautiful weekend as forecasted Saturday and Sunday to enjoy the Pioneer Days activities.

Saturday, October 19

5K AND 1.5M WALK/FUN RUN – Coordinated by Race Day Event Services

7:00 A.M. REGISTRATION

8:00 A.M. 5K Race begins.

8:15 A.M. 1.5M WALK/FUN RUN BEGINS.

ARTS & CRAFTS, FARMERS MARKET, FESTIVAL FOOD, EDUCATIONAL DEMONSTRATIONS, PONY RIDES AND LOTS OF FAMILY FUN

10:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M.

HORSE SHOE TOURNAMENT

9:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. Registration

2:00 P.M. Tournament begins

10:30 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. Gospel Trio and Leland Acker, pastor of Grace Point Church

FAMILY FUN AROUND THE CAMPFIRE

1:00 – 4:00 P.M. Sit around the campfire for some “Ole Tyme Storytelling” with Bob Sawyer and K.R. Wood.  (Bring your lawn chair or blanket for some fun and relaxation!)
