A Memorial Service and Visitation for Michael Lee Thompson, age 66, of Lake Brownwood, Texas will be held 2:00 – 4:00 P.M, Saturday, September 21, 2013 at First Baptist Church at Lake Brownwood.  Cremation is under the direction of Heartland Funeral Home.  Mr. Thompson passed away Thursday, September 19, 2013 at his residence.

Mr. Thompson was born in Jacksonville, Texas to Arthur Lee and Virginia King Boss.  He served in the U.S. Navy for three tours during Vietnam. In 1988, he was married to Barbara Johnson Thompson in Longmont, Colorado and had been a resident of Lake Brownwood for the past 11 years.

Son:  Michael Thompson and Cassi of Plano

3 grandchildren: Mason, Caylee and Ashley

He was preceded in death by his parents.
