Organizers for the Brownwood Reunion Celebration announced Wednesday that Randee Green has been selected as grand marshal for the 2013 Brownwood Reunion Celebration Feels Like Home Grand Parade.

Green helped organize the Brownwood Reunion Celebration for over 10 years and says that she is excited for this year’s event.

“I am just thrilled,” Green said.  “This will be the best Reunion ever and I am looking forward to seeing Everclear, Cory Morrow and Van Wilks perform along with all of the other weekend activities and attractions.”

The Grand Parade will take place Saturday, September 21st at 10 AM and will incorporate the Reunion’s  “red carpet” theme.  Line-up for the parade will start at 8:45 AM in the Bank of America parking lot in Downtown Brownwood, and cash prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place entries for best theme.

This year’s parade is organized by Southside Church and will be televised on KTXS-TV.

This year’s Brownwood Reunion Celebration will be held September 20, 21, and 22. The community-wide festival features a variety of competitions, events, attractions, music, and food in addition to the main concerts. Get the full schedule of events online at  www.celebratebrownwood.com.
