Brownwood High School Lions football team has been named the Dave Campbell’s 3A Army Strong Team of the Week after winning 46-43 against the Snyder Tigers in a struggle to the very end.

Only one 3A team is awarded this honor per week in the state of Texas.

According to Dave Campbell’s www.texasfootball.com website, “Each week, TexasFootball.com and the U.S. Army join together to select one team from every classification in high school football that demonstrated the qualities exhibited within the Army – those include leadership, commitment to excellence and a desire to make a difference as a member of a team.”
