Eight sentences handed down in 35th District Court

The office of District Attorney Micheal Murray issued the following press release regarding felony cases recently heard in 35th District Court by Judge Mike Smith.

  • Dustin Lyn Fulton pled guilty to the felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver and was sentenced to 35 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
  • Gabriella Orozco, on probation for the felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver-Drug Free Zone, was adjudicated and sentenced to 20 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
  • Stephen Cody Tackett, on probation for the felony offense of Aggravated Robbery-Deadly Weapon, was revoked and sentenced to 15 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
  • Courtney Hudson Lockett, on probation for the felony offenses of Tampering With or Fabricating Physical Evidence and Possession of a Controlled Substance, was revoked and sentenced to 6 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
  • Tisha Marie Aguinaga aka Tisha Aguinag, on probation for the felony offense of Forgery, was adjudicated and sentenced to 4 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
  • Brittney Cheryl Clark, on probation for the felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance – Drug Free Zone, was adjudicated and sentenced to 4 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
  • Justin Darrel Cupps, on probation for four separate state jail felony offenses of Possession of a Controlled Substance, was revoked and sentenced to 20 months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.
  • Michael Ross Burnett, on probation for the state jail felony offense of Forgery, was revoked and sentenced to 10 months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.
