BROWN COUNTY – On or about Monday, Dec. 12, 2022, the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) will temporarily close CR 146 to through traffic in order to reconstruct the bridge at Mud Creek.

Construction is expected to last approximately 5 months. Traffic will be detoured from CR 146 (Brown County) to CR 125 (Coleman County), then to CR 134, to CR 108, then to CR 107 to return back to CR 146 (Brown County).

Local law enforcement, emergency responders, local school districts and the postal service have been informed of this closure.
