The Brownwood Art Association Photo Group recently announced that it will begin a new mentoring program starting September 5, 2013.  This program is designed to share and teach photography to anyone with an interest in photography.  The mentoring program will cover everything from initial idea to participating in a gallery show.  No experience is necessary, just a desire to learn photography.

The Mentoring Program will allow each participant to choose a mentor from the Photo Group.  The mentor will teach the photographic process starting with concept, how to use a camera,  the photo shoot, processing the digital photo with a computer using photographic imaging software, printing and framing the work and participating in a gallery show.

The Photo Group meets at the Art Center the first Thursday of each month at 6:30 PM.  The Art Center is located at 215 Fisk Avenue, Brownwood, TX 76801.
