NiteAtTheRacesCFNThe Caring Family Network announces their 4th Annual “A Nite at the Races” event is set for Saturday, October 12th.

The event is a fundraiser for Caring Family Network, a DePelchin Children’s Center Affiliate, a non-profit Child Placing Agency for foster and adoptive children in the state of Texas. The fundraiser benefits the children and families located in and around Brown County and primarily goes to help give them a more magical Christmas.

At the event, twelve pre-recorded thoroughbred horse races will be played (each race is sent in sealed packaging) and attendees of the event are able to bet on them just as if they were really at the races.

Attendees will also be provided a steak dinner and drinks, and will enjoy music of the Josh Grider Band after the races.  Souvenir cups & koozies will be given to attendees.  There are also many silent auction items that will be up for grabs.

Tickets for the event are $65 per person and are available for purchase until the day of the event.  All participants must be 21 or older to attend.
