David Spiller to speak at PVRW event Nov. 15

The Pecan Valley Republican Women issued the following information Wednesday morning:

The Pecan Valley Republican Women cordially extends an invitation to members of the community to attend their upcoming monthly meeting, featuring one of our elected officials, Texas House District 68 Representative, David Spiller, as guest speaker on Tuesday November 15, 6:00 PM. at the Brownwood Country Club.

PLEASE RSVP TO REBECCA, 325-998-3880 no later than Monday, November 14 to ensure enough food is prepared by the Country Club Buffet.

YOU DO NOT NEED TO BE A MEMBER TO ATTEND

David Spiller is the State Representative for House District 68. 

A lifelong resident of Jacksboro, Texas, David has served his community through his work on the Jacksboro ISD school board, as General Counsel to the Jack County hospital district, and Jacksboro City Attorney. 

David is the President of Spiller Title and Managing Partner at Spiller & Spiller law firm, where he practices with his two sons, Mason and Reid. Additionally, David is a Credentialed Advanced mediator, having mediated well over a thousand cases. He is also a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA), an invitation-only national association of more than 7,600 experienced trial lawyers and judges. 

In the Texas House of Representatives, David serves on the County Affairs Committee and the Land & Resource Management Committee. He is a member of the Rural Caucus and was appointed to the House Republican Caucus Policy Committee. This session, David was named a Faith and Family Champion by Texas Values and a Courageous Conservative by the Texas Conservative Coalition. 

David and his wife Ginger have been married for 35 years and have two sons, Mason and Reid.  Mason and his wife, Alex, have two children, Shepherd and Sloane. Reid and his wife, Haley, have one son, Carson, and are expecting another child in December. The Spiller’s are members of First Baptist Church of Jacksboro.
