Visitation for Johnny Sosa Jr. will be held from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, August 6, 2013, at Heartland Funeral Home Early, Texas. Cremation will follow.

Johnny passed away Monday, August 5, 2013, in Abilene.

He was born May 4, 1961, in Denver City, Texas, to Johnny and Gloria Sosa He had lived in the Brownwood area for the past 25 years. He loved to fish, play basketball and football.

He is survived by his mother, Gloria Reasnor of Brownwood, Texas; three daughters, Tonya Sosa of Brownwood, Texas, Tamara Sosa of Brownwood, Texas, and Amber Sosa of Oklahoma; two step-sons, Christopher Garcia and Sean Garcia, both of Comanche, Texas; and one brother, Richard Sosa of Lometa, Texas. Johnny is also survived by his fiancé, Lorri Garcia.

Services are under the direction of Heartland Funeral Home of Early.
