HOGGFuneral services for Reba Hogg, age 80, of Early, will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday, July 13, 2013 at the Early First Baptist Church with Eddie Ailshie and Joe Baucom officiating.  Burial will take place prior to the service at 10:00 AM in Eastlawn Memorial Park.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday evening from 6:00 until 8:00.

Reba passed from this life on July 11, 2013 in Brownwood at age 80.

Reba Lee Bettis Hogg was born on September 9, 1932 to Gus and Vida Bettis, the third of four children.  She married James Vernon Hogg on December 22, 1949 in Lamesa.  After living in West Texas for several years, they moved to Brownwood and together they operated Central Texas Livestock Auction and the Brownwood Cattle Auction.

Reba always gave God all the credit for any success that she had in her life.  She loved God, her family and her country.  Reba was a member of Early First Baptist Church for many years.  She was very active in her church.  She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, and a good friend to many.  She will be missed by all who knew her.

Reba is survived by her daughter, Connie Pelzel and husband Curtis of Miles; son, Dwayne Hogg and wife Jill of Stephenville; grandsons Cooper Hogg and wife Melissa of San Angelo and Roy Vernon and wife Tate of Stephenville; granddaughters, Kallie Jo Newmann of Stephenville and Nicole Pelzel of Miles; a sister, Evelyn Martin of Casa Grande, Arizona, sister-in-laws, Geraldine Tarbet and husband Joe and Barbara Stone and husband Harold, all of Lubbock; two brothers-in-law, Kenneth Hogg and wife and wife Lanette of Lamesa, and Nelson Hogg and wife Cheryl of Lubbock and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Maxine Gartman and Sallie Taylor, brother-in-law Douglas Hogg and granddaughter, Michaela Pelzel.

The family requests memorials be made to Early First Baptist Church, Lighthouse Hospice or to a charity of your choice.

Condolences can be offered to the family www.heartlandfuneralhome.net
