Fireworks Shows Scheduled at Lake Brownwood for 4th of July Weekend

fireworks2Live music and fireworks shows are being held at Lake Brownwood this weekend to celebrate Independence Day this weekend at two locations around the lake.

Friday, July 5th Gilligan’s Park and Campground (formerly Sandy Beach) will host a fireworks show at sundown.  There will also be live music by Four Barrel.  Gilligan’s Park and Campground is located at 5099 Beach Club Road.  For more information and costs call 325-784-5679.

Saturday, July 6th, Wild Duck Marina will host a fireworks show and live music.  The evening will kick off with The Remains performing at 6 PM until dark.  Fireworks will begin at 9:20 PM.  Bleu Edmondson will top off the night performing from 10 PM until 1 AM.  Cost is $20 per person and all proceeds benefit the Lake Brownwood Dam Volunteer Fire Department.  Wild Duck Marina is located at 320 High Top Street.  For more information call 325-784-7100.
