Lynn “Pluto” Faught

faughtLynn “Pluto” Faught, 83, of San Saba, Texas, passed away Saturday, June 29, 2013 at his residence in San Saba, Texas.

He was born September 21, 1929 in Nix, Texas, to Jessie Clarence Faught and Minnie Cook Faught. He served in the Army during the Korean War and made his home in San Saba, Texas, where he worked for Amthor Construction Company for many years.  Lynn and his wife, Betty were married 58 years.  Gardening was one of his favorite pastimes.  He loved his family and friends and enjoyed spending time with them.

He is survived by his wife Betty Faught of San Saba; one son Tommy Faught and his wife Darlene of Early; one daughter Peggy Hilliard and Louis Carlisle of Brownwood; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; three sisters Willie McKinney, Dixie Robbins, and Rosa Lee Wilson; and an extended family member Homer Hilliard.

He is preceded in death by his parents; two sons David Faught and Jimmy Ray Faught; one granddaughter Kelsey Hilliard; two brothers; and three sisters.

The family will receive friends at the Blaylock Funeral Chapel of San Saba, Tuesday, July 2, 2013, 6:00-8:00 P.M. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at the West End Church of Christ with Alfred Harrell and Donald Harrell.  A private interment will be held at a later date.
