Felony Offenders Sentenced in District Court

BrownCountyDistrictCourtLogoDistrict Attorney Micheal Murray reports several felony cases were recently heard in Brown/Mills County District Court, Judge Stephen Ellis presiding.

William Joseph Meyer pled guilty to the felony offense of Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity and was sentenced to 25 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.  Further Meyer pled guilty to the felony offense of Burglary of a Habitation and was sentenced to 20 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.  Also, Meyer, on probation for the felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance-Drug Free Zone, was revoked and sentenced to 2 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.  Also, Meyer, on probation for the state jail felony offenses of Endangering a Child and Criminal Mischief was revoked and sentenced to 2 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.

Dylan Lee Linderman, on probation for the felony offense of Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity, was revoked and sentenced to 7 years Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Kelly Scott Stewart, on probation for the felony offense of Assault Family Violence-Enhanced, was revoked and sentenced to 6 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Daniels Adam Goras pled guilty to the felony offense of Burglary of a Building and was sentenced to 3 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

James Anthony Cash pled guilty to the felony offense of Injury to a Child and was sentenced to 3 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.  Further, Cash pled guilty to the state felony offense of Abandoning or Endangering a Child and was sentenced to 1 year, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.

Jeremy David Drake, on probation for two separate state jail felony offenses of Possession of a Controlled Substance, was revoked and sentenced to 18 months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.

Tracy Stone, on probation for the state jail felony offense of Endangering a Child, was adjudicated and sentenced to 14 months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.

Ricky Valencia, on probation for the state felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance was revoked and sentenced to 12 months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.
