Organizers for the Brownwood Reunion Celebration are busy getting set for one of their biggest weekends on record as they started passing out promotional posters for the event on Monday and discussed an expanded lineup of concerts scheduled for this year.

Ticket holders for the main stage concerts will get to hear headliners Everclear on Friday night and Cory Morrow on Saturday night, but this year’s Saturday concerts will begin in the early afternoon building up to Morrow’s finale.

On Saturday, the concert gates will open at 1 PM and concerts will begin at 2 PM featuring Texas Gray at 2 PM, 80 Proof at 3:30 PM, 4 Barrel at 5:00 PM, 10 Mile Crossing at 6:30 PM, Front Porch Texas at 8:00 PM, The Remains at 9:30 PM with Cory Morrow starting at 10:45 PM.   The opening performers for Friday night have not been announced.

Also this year, Sunday will feature blues and classic rock music with Blackbird, Three Shades Blue and headliner Van Wilks who is a Brownwood native.   The Sunday concerts will run from 1 PM to 5 PM.

“This will be a fantastic lineup of blues and classic rock for Sunday,” said Jodie Armstrong, entertainment chair for the Brownwood Reunion Celebration committee. “It is going to be a big year and we are excited.”

Concert tickets will go on sale August 1st and will cost $25 for a 3-day pass.

This year’s Brownwood Reunion Celebration will be held September 20, 21, and 22.  The community-wide festival features a variety of contests, events, attractions, music, and food in addition to the main concerts.
