Holiday Schedules Released for Cities of Brownwood and Early

CityofBrownwoodlogo_smallThe Cities of Brownwood and Early will be closed Thursday, July 4th in observance of the Independence Day holiday.  All non-emergency city facilities will close and there will be no collection of residential waste.

Residential Waste Collections will be scheduled as follows:

Brownwood

There will be no collection of residential waste on Thursday July 4th.  Residents with blue or green carts please note that your collection days will be as follows:

  • Thursday’s routes will be collected on Wednesday (one day early)
  • Friday’s routes will be collected as usual.

Bagged trash prevents litter, Bag your waste and securely tie the bags closed before placing in carts or dumpsters.  You may follow the City of Brownwood on facebook at https://www.facebook.com/BrownwoodRecycles.

The Recycling Center and Landfill will be closed on Thursday July 4th.

The City collects bulky items including brush and tree limbs from residential customers at no charge, please cut them into lengths of 5 feet or less and notify the Sanitation Department at 643-4200 or online at http://www.ci.brownwood.tx.us/sanitation.htm.

For problems related to water or sewer service within the City of Brownwood, customers may call 646-6000, 24 hours per day 7 days per week.

Early

Trash routes for Wednesday and Thursday will be picked up on Wednesday, July 3rd.
